You can quit the toxic company and find a better job anytime. You can become healthier whenever you want. You can break a bad habit whenever you want.
But if you never get around to doing it, is that so-called ability of any use?
We all have the potential to do better. What differentiates the higher person from the lower one is that the former takes action to fulfill that potential. Without action, words are just fluff.
To take action and leave a mark in the world, or to die as a mere statistic. What will you choose?
